Thanks for taking a look at my work in progress! Here are a few things that I am working on right now, and you can read more about them in some of my other blog posts:
I did this mandala drawing in black and white a couple of years ago, but recently I realized that I could play around with my mandala drawings on the computer and create new digital images with different color schemes. So I’ll be adding more to my Mandala Images Gallery soon and making them available as prints. If you’re curious about why I like to draw mandalas, read my blog post “Mandala Magic”.
These two limestone sculptures are waiting to be finished so I will be getting back to them soon now that the cold winter weather is just about over. I do my stone carving in the garage or outside in the backyard because it produces so much dust. The standing figure is close to completion, except for some detailing in the neck, head and face, and some refinement of the surface overall. The other photo shows three different views of the piece that I call “Group Hug.” The forms are pretty well roughed out but I want to add some interesting textures to the clothing, and refine the hands and faces a bit more. Once these are finished I will post them in my Figurative Sculpture Gallery.
